Perfect Richmond Fall Wedding
Alicia and Andrew were married on the perfect fall day in Richmond, Virginia. They exchanged vows on November 11, 2017, at Trinity United Methodist Church. Following their church wedding guests enjoyed a full night of dinner, drinks, and dancing at The Jefferson.
There was a chill in the air that day, but the warmth of The Jefferson was the perfect place for the bride and groom to get ready for their special day. The trees outside were the perfect shade of yellow and that made the perfect backdrop for their first look. Alicia could not stop smiling the entire day, especially when she looked at Andrew. Their first look was one of Jamie’s favorites because they were so giddy in love.
When we think back to their Engagement Session, we remember how in love they looked. They constantly had their eyes on each other and their wedding day was no different. Their smiles were infectious, you couldn’t help but smile when you looked at this fun-loving couple.
Once everyone was ready for the wedding, they traveled to Trinity United Methodist Church for the ceremony. After that, guests joined the couple in the Rotunda at the Jefferson Hotel for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Then they made their way upstairs for dinner and dancing. Jimmy at the Jefferson Hotel always sets the stage for the best parties as the food, decor, and timing were just perfect as usual. There is not a more beautiful backdrop for a wedding than the Jefferson Hotel!
Family is very important to Alicia and Andrew, so we made sure to capture as many special moments as possible with them and their parents. These are images that they will treasure for a lifetime. We especially loved capturing Alicia dancing with her dad. He sang to her and twirled her around on the dance floor like they were the only two in the room.
The band Soul Expressions kept the guests on the dance floor until the bitter end. So much fun was had by all! When the night was finally over, Alicia and Andrew were sent off with a spectacular bubble display.
