Church Hill Engagement Session with Hayes & Fisk

We are excited to share Stephanie and Mike’s Church Hill Engagement Session with you. When you live in an awesome neighborhood like the historic Church Hill neighborhood of Richmond, why not capture that beauty in your engagement photos. That is exactly what Stephanie and Mike decided after we met and work with them to design their engagement session. Since Stephanie is an interior designer, how perfect that we designed this session with her. We even made sure to include some Hokie colors, as VA Tech is near and dear to her family.

The day of the session, we had such a great time walking around Churchill to some of their favorite spots. This gave them a lot of options and each backdrop was better than the one before. We loved strolling down the old gas lamp post lined streets to the walled garden on the perimeter of the old monastery. Everywhere we turned was the perfect background for not only their carefully planned outfits but also their lifestyle. We truly believe this session really tells the story of Stephanie and Mike and in the end, that is all we can hope for.

The day ended at Jamie’s favorite spot. They could see the twinkling city lights of Richmond from the famous hill where Patrick Henry, just blocks away, gave his famous speech. Days like this make us so grateful to live and work in such a dynamic city as Richmond, VA.
