This is such a gorgeous Charlottesville Engagement Session! After meeting Kelly and Sean to discuss their 2021 wedding plans and hearing how much they loved Charlottesville, Virginia, we knew it was the perfect location for their engagement session. We had a few phone conversations and zoom meetings and before we knew it, we had settled on the perfect spots. Each location represented something special for Kelly and Sean and we knew these images would serve as a visual storyboard for the couple.
The day was absolutely perfect. It was sunny with beautiful white cotton-like clouds canvassing the tops of the fall foliage. As we drove to Charlottesville we took notice of the stunning palette of colors and we knew everything was going to turn out perfect.
First, we began the IX Art Park. This location gave us beautiful backdrops of vibrant art. Then we ventured to the Downtown Mall. Kelly and Sean look at ease as we captured several shots on this historic street lined with local shops and amazing restaurants. Finally, we headed northwest to Glass House Vineyard to end the day. The drive to the vineyard was magical as we took in the stunning views while blasting Dave Matthews Band on the radio. We knew we would get some amazing shots at this final location.
This vineyard was surrounded by the most beautiful naturally grown, stunning display of grapevines. They seemed to go over forever. The tasting room was the most gorgeous greenhouse filled with tropical trees, plants, and flowers. The whole property was truly breathtaking.
As we finished up at the vineyard, we were certain that we had captured some amazing shots of the couple. Engagement sessions are always so much fun, and this one did not disappoint. There is no better way to get into the wedding planning mood!
