Sheehan Garden Session

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Ryan and his family. In fact, it’s been since 2015 and boy has he grown - we can’t believe he is 12! It was great to reconnect after the VDSA dancing with the local stars event at the beautiful Altria Theatre on May 25th of this year.

After seeing Kerensa in May, she called to schedule a family portrait session. She expressed that this has been on her to-do list for quite some time and she wanted to finally make it happen. 

Ryan was the life of the party and had a blast in front of the camera. He was amazing to photograph and the main portrait, which we will install over their fireplace, perfectly captured his personality. Ryan was able to pose with ease, which allowed Mom and Dad to relax and enjoy the moment. Once we started shooting, we knew we were going to get the perfect family portrait for the Sheehan family. 

Before the shot, we worked with Kerensa to choose a color palette to coordinate with their family living room. She knew she wanted it to hang about their fireplace because it was a prominent spot where it could be enjoyed by everyone who visited their home.

We were also able to capture a lot of individual images of Ryan. One of our favorites is the one where he photobombed us while trying to capture an alone moment for Kerensa and Vince. He was definitely in his element and enjoyed the whole process. 

The Sheehan family now has a beautiful family portrait that they will treasure for years to come.
